
Oregon Electrical Supervisor Course
Course Information
This is a 40-hour comprehensive course in preparation for taking the State of Oregon examination for Oregon Electrical Signing Supervisor and Electrical Inspector Certification. The course will cover the National Electrical Code (NEC) Chapters, in conjunction with the 2023 Oregon Electrical Specialty Code (OESC), formal interpretations, and State of Oregon Rules and Statutes. There will be extensive study of the NEC calculation allowance and requirements with home study of multiple choice questions for each attendee. In addition, there will be multiple electrical calculations that will include residential, commercial and industrial facilities. This course will earn 16 hours of CEU’s in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Utah for licensed electricians.

Training is currently approved for CEU's (Continuing Education Units) in the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, California and Utah Electrical License holders.

Meet Jim Imlah
Jim Imlah keeps current with new technology and stays in touch with the constantly shifting demands of the electrical industry. But, with well over 30 years of experience in the electrical industry, he finds the most joy in sharing his hard-won knowledge and expertise. Along with his experience as an electrician and electrical inspector, Jim has developed an extensive network of contacts and friends in his years of involvement with the International Association of Electrical Inspectors (IAEI) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). Since 1993 Jim has held positions including Electrical Inspector and Electrical Plans Examiner with a total of 34 years in the electrical industry. Jim is also a past code panel member to NFPA-70 CMP-2 and CMP-8 (code making panel).
Jim is a past Northwestern Section Secretary to the International Association of Electrical Inspectors. Also, past International Association of Electrical Inspectors Board of Directors in Richardson Texas. Currently, owns Imlah Electrical Consulting providing training and continuing education for Supervisors License (Masters License). He also provides training of the adopted National Electrical Code, Oregon Law and Rule, Washington RCW-WAC rules, Transformers, Electrical Calculations, Conductor Installation and Soares Grounding and Bonding. Jim is approved by the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, and Utah to provide continuing education for electrical journeyman, electrical master electricians, electrical administrators and electrical apprentice/trainees. He also provides both online and site-specific prep training for the Oregon Electrical Supervisors License.

Refund Policy:
Rescheduling an instructional course is available up until 24-hours prior to the course start time. Refunds are available upon request with the following schedules: i) greater than or equal to seven days notice from the course date, 100% of the original purchase price will be refunded, ii) less than seven days notice from the course date, 50% of the original purchase price will be refunded, iii) less than 24-hours prior to the course, no refund will be available.
